I’m sorry to tell you but Crisalinda doesn’t mean pretty young or beautiful girl in Portuguese. It’s just a name and it’s written the same way as in English.
Linda means pretty or beautiful but not Crisalinda.

It doesn’t mean pretty young or beautiful girl. I think if your nickname was Cris from Cristina, etc… that could means something like “Cris, a linda” (Cris, the beautiful girl) or just an “affection name” given to you by your grandparents. did u understand what I mean?
What your grandpa might have called you was CRISÁLIDA, which is the cocoon of a catterpillar before it transforms itself into a butterfly.
“crisalinda” doesn’t exist in portuguese.
Crisalinha is just a name.
Linda or bonita means a beautiful girl or pretty young girl.
Ok?
Bye!
PS.: I’m Brazilian.

criança linda = cree-ahnsuh leen-duh
beautiful child
Linda means beautiful
Crisa means… well… nothing
It might be a nickname your grandfather called you or you may be your confusing with the portuguese “criança” which means child
so
Criança Linda = Beautiful Child
