Probably. Also, two thousand years of cover doesn’t hurt.

There is nothing slight of hand when it comes to Jesus’s miracles
yes thats right….bringing the dead back to life is a “sleight of hand”…. good job…. 😉
If you are talking about technicalities, there is no historical evidence that Jesus ever existed.
as in……….?
The 12 “assistants” as you call them were just as amazed as everyone else, they had no part in the miracles. Why would you believe a story to assume conspiracy rather than just not believing it at all? The Bible doesn’t say Jesus and his disciples tricked everyone by miracles… if you want to think that you are better off not believing the Bible at all.
Benji, there actually IS historical evidence that Jesus existed. Good grief people on here really like to spew out whatever is in their head and have nothing to back up their thoughts.
The magic tricks are just as easiliy done by other people and the stories got combined by people who just assumed they were the same person when they weren’t.
Miracles and healing are what true reality is all about. Be willing to see it.
lmao.
i would guess so
What do you mean?
No such thing as miracles.
These were just stories written for the bible, there is no truth in them, it was just trying to convince people that “Jesus” or “god” were so powerful that you’d better be careful, otherwise their vengeance would befall you.
The introduction by Saul/Paul of Jewish fabulism does not undermine the beauty and ethical wisdom of the Sermon on the Mount. I doubt the miracles occurred or were a part of the teachings and travels of this great avatar. The bowdlerization of these written accounts by later figures is to be ignored. I take from religious texts of every faith what I find to be of value and ignore the rest.
If that’s the case, kudos to him.
L.M.A.O. you gave me a instant visual thomas levitating in the corner peter going through a crowd…”choose a card any card”…..paul with a whip and the tigers to the left of stage and Jesus saying (centre stage of course)
“And now for my next trick i will be crucified and be back here ON stage in three days who will return to see me?The one and only trick NEVER been done before successfully” heheheheheheheheheheheheheh
I’d like to see that sleight-of-hand trick where a person calms a storm….or raises someone who was dead for three days…or reattaches a freshly cut off ear.
Here’s what one illusionist thinks……
