The moment you realise that it’s the original sample of the track you’ve been listening to way back 🙂 in this case it’s Madlib’s “Mystic Bounce”. Both songs are pure gold.

“I like ’em Brown, Yellow, Puerto Rican, or Haitian,
The name’s Phife Dawg from the Zulu Nation,
Told ya in the jam that We Can Get Down,
Now let’s knock the boots like the group H-Town”

Have to be honest, out of all my 22 years living thus far, this has got to be one of the funkest jams I’ve come across. First time listening to this one *note the time* lol. This man right here for sure is way above, off the rector of blues, jazz, soul, funk for sure!. Truely one of the best, for his time at that. I shall enjoy and look up many of Mr.Fosters tracks, *U Torrent* if you catch my drift. Blast from the past surely helps wake me up in all ways indeed. Bless Fost be cool man funky.
