Question by missy146833: Is gender prediction possible when trying to have a baby?
I have a 3 year old son and I’ve been really wanting to have a baby girl. Is there anything we can do to have a girl that actually works? I’ve heard about the gender prediction calandar. Does it work and how do I go about it?

Please , check gender prediction calender for your three sons which I recently posted. Due to space shortage the following text I was’nt able to post.
“As egend would have it, the Chinese Gender Chart was buried in a royal tomb over 700 years ago. Recently discovered, the chart has been used to predict the gender of an unborn child based on the mother’s age and month of conception.
Simply find the age of the mother at the time of conception on the chart below and then follow across to the month the baby was conceived to find the predicted gender. Although this chart is said to have a success rate of over 90 percent, keep in mind that this is solely for entertainment purposes. Enjoy”

What do you think? Answer below!
No, there is no way to make sure you will have a girl. However, you *can* increase the chances using the Shettles method (see sources section below). It is 75-90% effective. But because it is *not* guaranteed, you should only use it if you will be thrilled to have a child of either gender. If you are really serious about wanting a girl, buy the book; it has a lot more details than the Web site.
There are those who recommend the “Chinese calendar” method. They *cannot* be accurate, as it is possible to have boy-girl twins! In addition, there are several different versions of the calendar (if one version says you’ll be having a boy and anothe a girl, they can’t *both* be right, right?), and there’s no way to know which one is more “authentic”. Most of them use the date of birth for part of the computation, and date of conception for part. You won’t know when you conceive when your baby will be born (and…does that mean that if your doctor does a c-section before you are really ready to give birth that your baby will magically change sex?!), and you probably won’t know exactly when you conceived (or do you only have sex in months where your baby will have the “correct” gneder?). It’s all superstition.
I don’t think the calender works. But there are some methods that could make your odds a little better. They say that boy sperm are fast but weak and die quickly. Girls are supposed to swim slow but live longer. So timing conception with ovulation is crucial. Also, they say the acidity levels in your vagina matter. There is a book out there, think it is called Choosing the gender of your Baby. But not sure. I have three girls (none planned) and am pregnant with ???? This one was planned crossing fingers it is a boy.
the Chinese Calander seems to work. When I used it it worked, then I researched anyone I knew who had gotten pregnant and had a baby and it still worked.
It worked for me. I had a boy and wanted a girl (she is now 12 weeks old). How I did it – Find out your menstrual cycle. 2-3 days before you are due to ovulate have lots and lots of sex! You see, sperm can live for up to 72 hours and out of the sperm the ones carrying the female determining are said to live longer and swim slower than the ones determining male gender – male sperm die quicker and swim faster – so wait for them to die before ovulation. Optimum day is morning of DAY 2! Please note it is ultimately determined by the male partner but every little bit possible done can help. Best of luck!
