Time passed and the org. weakened, there facts became opinions which slowly turned to legends. Thaumaturgy still exists but is no more then an cult which practices fake magic tricks etc and the true nature is long forgotten.

The long lost secret society known as the Thaumauturgy, used both magic and science to grant individuals with more power and control. Membership of the Thaumauturgy is not something one can earn, but rather you must be born with particular skills. These individuals attempt to enlighten the human soul, making humans more ???? As time progressed, the organization began to weaken. What was once known as facts, decreased to opinions and eventually became mere legends. Thaumaturgy still exists today but is nothing more than a cult which is said to practice the simple magic trick. The stories still live on, but the true nature is long forgotten.
