Question by Thomas B: How do you feel about Dem. Ted Foster winning Denny Haster’s old seat?
The Repubs threw everything but the kitchen sink towards winning this special election in IL-14. This district is one of the reddest districts in Illinois. Their candidate, big money dairyman Jim Oberweis, lost 52 to 48.
What does it say about how the American public views the Republican Party’s policies, priorities, strategies and philosophies?
Does this election presage the general election in November?

great go dems
What do you think? Answer below!
extremely happy go dems,
oberwies employed illegals in his dairy stores, this is not the type of person we need in congress
it means that obama’s presidency bid is bringing droves of new democrats into the voting arena.
and this will carry through in november.
so hillary’s saying she won the “big states” is ridiculous.
Couldn’t be happier. And I expect it does presage the November election. Bush has killed it for the Republicans.
As a lifelong Illinois voter I was shocked, knowing how lock-step Republican these districts west and north of Chicago are. Even the embarrassingly corrupt republican representatives from these areas have continually and historically been elected and re-elected to office. It doesn’t bode well for Republicans.
