You have two identical textbooks with the same weight. One is dropped from a table that is 2m high and one is dropped from a table that is 1.5m high. Which book has the most gravitational potential energy?

It depends. When they reach the floor they have the same GPE. When they start , the one on the two metre table has the greater GPE. While they are falling…. it depends again when you decide to do the measurement.
