Driving my Electric Car with my home made 3 phase inverter running a Siemens Ford Motor.
www.spinmotiv.com How to convert your geared mountain bike into a single speed. This video assumes you have the basic tools and know-how for regular bike maintenance and shows you the basics of setting up a single speed mountain bike.
@etischer You might want to hook up your brake lights to the regen. somebody is going to plow right in to you. I dont want a wonderful ev smashed like gm did.
Excellent video. See my channel electric motor new design. It is very original model of electric motor (it has no accelerating coil, special phase-shifting devices and condensers).
do you still accelerate with the “gas” pedal?
Got a prius for a rental and fell in love with it . I live in Thailand now and learning about Hybrid conversions I want to do this with a small light weight Mazda Familia pickup .
A tesla coil (ignition coil) puts out thousands of volt of electricity, could that be another form of power for an electric motor? Step up, and Step down conversions…
Nice and quiet too! I could actually listen to music in a car that quiet!
@etischer Hi, where you from? Just curious I’m new to EV and thinking about a build.
i believe the problem with electric motor is that hydraulics cant run anymore?
whats the advantage of using a 3phase ac motor over dc series motor?
Does the inverter convert DC into AC? excuse my ignorance.
There are conversion kits out there that gives ranges from 60-80 mile for cheap,3-5 grand. While those that cost 8-13 grand you get 110 to 200. But it also depend on the motor your using your battery type, weight of the car. Lighter you are faster you go and more range you get. Go read official ev website or go to the library and be amaze how efficient electric car are. Next year plan to save to buy a lightweight German car and convert it to electric, and never have to be a slave to pump.
what is the range?how many km you can drive it in electric?
@sickasso72 yes i put blender motor up to u nigga ass
what is the range?
Great job.
Yep, Im overdue for an update video!
Top speed is now 105mph, Im up to 14,500 ev miles and running strong
This so much better than those redneck conversions= stuffing a washing machine motor and 20 exide batteries into Chevy LUV!!!!
@whatifpeace pffft i just sit on a solar panel and charge the batteries with of the light that shines out of my arse. where does this magical regenerating energy come from?
Im gona use this motor becaus i can find your type SIEMENS 1PV5135-WS24
But what connection did you use to connect transmision and motor

whats the top speed in that beast ;D
it’s bin over a tear now, how about an update video
Outstanding. Are you marketing the inverters? I am interested in purchasing plans or a finished product.
Free Energy is real and its here but the coverup is strong, if u are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and download the blueprints ,it is probably the ONLY working magnet
motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

@SpinMotiv Yeah I don’t think so. Thinking of doing a build up, maybe a salsa!
@astrollenium – No, you shouldn’t worry. You still have more clearance than a geared bike with the big ring, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
Just took my bash guard to try out the clean look. It did have one small gash in it. Should I worry? Do you ride over rocky stuff with no worries?
very informative video
@chefboyrobbie – Using cheap parts, probably less than $50. If you want to use higher quality parts it will probably cost in the $100 range but that depends on what specific parts are used.
@Alex2960 i took mine to a bike shop and they got it super tight
how much does something like this cost?
I remember, when you have chain, on excess, you get those chains, that have more joints, like the double of it (Can’t remember its name) and you replace a piece of the the “loose” chain with the double joint, so it wil be easier to adjust. It was our way of doing it, and you dont get to use a chain tensioner
Hi, I have a 8 geard trials bike, and I want to convert it into a single speed. but i have no idea what to do. please help!
@SpinMotiv Hmm thank you a lot I will try those half links and the gear combinations I’m sorry to be bothering you but I don’t know if I should do this to my bike because I have a Shwinn Varsity 1972 or somewhere around those years and idk if its to old to convert it with the least amount of money to spend.
@Alex2960 – Maybe. Depending on the frame’s chainstay length, gear combination and a little patience, you might be able to find something that will work. You can also try half-links on certain chains to fine tune the length (look for something like a KMC half link).
Is there any way to not put that chain tensioner and have no slack on the chain?
@samuelcyr1 – You can try your old front ring if you want. The only trouble you might have is the chain might want to come off easier when bouncing around. Make sure the chain is properly tensioned to help prevent that. No special rims are needed. The wheels used in this video are standard wheels with a 9-speed hub.
does it really matter if you keep your old front sprocket ? And do you have to get specials ryms to convert a single speed?
Thanks
Thanks man i really appreciate it good explanation btw!!
@SpinMotiv thanks
@TheDownloadfreegames – Without seeing your bike, I can’t be 100% sure, but as long as you get a spacer kit like shown in the video (with multiple different sized spacers), it should be fine. Since 7-speed cassettes are narrower, you will just have an extra spacer or two leftover when installing the SS kit since less are required. Make sure that whatever cog you get is keyed for your style of hub (some 7-speed hubs had different key styles)
i have s dirt bike and it has got 7 speeds if i put a single speed it will be thiner what can i do?
@uvasam13 – I believe all 8 and 9 speed cassettes are the same width. Most spacer kits I have seen come with a variety of spacers to accommodate slight variations in the overall width.
are all cassettes a universal size? please answer.
really good video you actually make sense, thanks for the help 🙂
your beast. someone who actually KNOWS what they are talking about. im jealous of your bike too! 😀
Great!!! Thanks for posting
Really helpfull
