Question by Rocketdog: Does a postgraduate degree have to be in the same field as your undergraduate degree?
For example, I’m studying a BSc in Neuroscience but would I be able to do postgraduate study in something not related to Neuroscience?

You can go to graduate school in an unrelated field as long as you take any prerequisite coursework required by the graduate program. Sometimes you can take these classes as a temporary non-degree graduate student. The prerequisite courses may not necessarily count towards the number of hours required for the graduate degree.

Postgraduate studies does not have to be related in any form to your undergraduate studies, as long as you fulfill the prerequisites.
e.g. a music major that decides to go to medical school, as long as that person’s taken the science classes required to be eligible
