Question by *Hermione Granger*: Any good mystery/thriller novels?
I love mystery/thriller novels with a little romance in it as well if it must.(not necessary but it would be nice..:) ). Preferably if the “thrill” and horror was all about some unknown entity or some ancient creature. I’ve already read a novel called Phantoms by Dean Koonzt where the “Ancient Enemy” was murdering people in gruesome ways and a woman who came to visit the town (now a ghost town) together with some cops decide to find and destroy the entity. I really enjoyed it and hoped to get something similar.
Like I said, romance isn’t necessary but if there is I wouldn’t mind but please recommend me something along the mystery/thriller/ lines. But I love unknown entities!

@ Chris Chan: Actually I said NOVELS..lol. But thanks though. I’ve seen Insidious and had gotten the image of that red faced demon out of my mind but you just brought it back. Lol.

Insidious would be a great movie for you to watch. It’s thrilling and always keeps you at the edge of your seat.

It’s based off of a video game but Alan Wake was a good book.
Shutter Island is a very good thriller.
Also try Steig Larsson’s ‘The Girl with…’ series.
I’ve read and seen the book/movie AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. It’ s a mystery/thriller novel for sure. Agatha Christie is the author. She has plenty of other books too! I recommend her books. I’ve read that book like 5 times already!
