A Truly Enchanting Experience On The Uk’s Sunshine Isle

There’s a lot about the Isle of Wight which could reasonably be described as enchanting. The Sunshine Isle, retaining as it does an aura of an unspoiled England some many years away in a probably mythical past, provides the perfect getaway for the holidaymaker wanting to cross the water and get away yet not quite get away, in a manner of speaking. The cliffs, some breathtaking scenery, the crisp country air.
But tucked away deep in the woodland recesses of Niton, near the Island’s south coast, is an altogether more enchanting experience than is to be found anywhere else at all. It is known as the Enchanted Manor and everything about it – from its appearance and ambience even to its alluring and even slightly captivating website – exudes pure enchantment.
This serial award-winning, five-star luxury hotel is simply spectacular. Everything about it has an enchanted theme. The rooms are beautiful, spoiled in comfort and luxury – and of course enchanted. Hosts Maggie and Ric have lovingly and imaginatively restored their home in the image a magical boutique. The works of a world-famous artist, Josephine Wall, were the inspiration for the project and are evident throughout the entire building.
The visitor is ruined with luxury – chocolate, wine, gourmet breakfasts, use of the spa. Most of the beds are four-poster. The Manor can host small weddings which must be an experience never to be forgotten, and luxury picnics and grand high teas can be organised too.
Health and beauty treatments are available. The hotel even boasts its own Victorian games room.
The Manor’s grounds are a natural retreat for wildlife and badgers, peacocks, red squirrels and pheasants can be observed. Even the weather has its own eco-system and is usually much warmer than elsewhere on the Island.
Unsurprisingly the Enchanted Manor routinely picks up many awards. It was rated Number One out of 33 Isle of Wight inns and hotels in Trip Advisor’s Popularity Index. In 2007 it won the Tourism Exsellence Award, in 2008 was declared the Funkiest Accommodation in the UK and In 2008/09 it was top of the Isle of Wight’s Bed and Breakfast, Guest Accommodation and Hospitality list.
The website even features an Enchanted Video. The Enchanted Manor really is a wholly surreal experience which begins at your PC.
