Second vid for my Divination series. Want to know what other people’s personal views on this topic are. How you approach it and why. VR most welcome and keep the comments flooding, but remember to really sit and think about what Divination is to you and whether its a gift or a skill. Have fun!! Research before you try to float and keep an open mind! BB x sycalaelen.wordpress.com

Im just starting to use my “skill/gift” of Divination due to my aunt (Whom is Pagan and practices witchcraft). She says from the experiences/visions iv told her, that im a Clairvoyant, and advises me to start Scrying after learning a few other tools. My uncle got me started on The I-Ching and now im pursuing The Tarot and Runes as a couple other tools since im kinda familiar with the Ching. I just wanted to know if I should make an Altar even if im just practicing Divination rituals?
Thanks
It was the Canon IXUS 100 S, great little cam and stylish too, but took forever to upload! Lol! and hour per min of footage! BB x
Your camera is very clear! What type do you use!
i want to personally meet ppl like that, to try and ask life’s deep questions, like which is the true religion, or is there a God? wat shud i do with my life? im jus curious to hear the answers and the way they have their answers
In African Traditional Religion, the prophets/prophetess are born into lineages and initiated into the mysteries earlier in life. But definetly these are skills that can be learned.DEFINETLY CHECK OUT AFRICAN DIVINATION
OMG you grew up as a seventhday adventist so did I Im from the UK also strange…erm your live very brave to post a vid like this if any SDA see this theres gonna be like u backslider and the rest.
i agree with so much. you must listen to your intuition and not worry about which tool speaks to you. and it does change sometimes. i used to use the pendulum and now tarot works for me better. had a friend that did automatic writing for years and then it stopped. it was time for a break for some reason. you just have to go with it.
Divination works best for me when I don’t think about it and don’t talk about it and just let it happen naturally. Just posting this comment will probably mess mine up for awhile, but that’s okay. I think we all come by it naturally to varying degrees; it’s just that some are more gifted than others, like anything else.
I think people who think they are not psychic but really want to be need to relax, ask themselves why they want to be psychic, state their intention to the Universe, and practice. I have actually seen a person BREAK DOWN & CRY in front of about 20 guests because she was NOT psychic & wanted to be so badly. I don’t think she had the RIGHT reasons, but that is another story. Moral of the story: Be honest with yourself why you want to be psychic. Don’t try to fool the universe, you can’t.
That was hilarious what you said about Bodiccea. I have always been drawn to her too. I thought I was the only Witch in the world that did not like Astrology. I see I am not alone. I believe all people are born with psychic ability, some stronger than others. It’s up to us to develop this gift / skill. Some people seem as dense as rocks when it comes to psychism but it just not exist as stronger in them as others. I was born with strong psychic abilities that I have continued to develop.
awesome video!! You are so funny!!!!!
and bonding with them, talking to them. I’m making my own (wooden) runes, and have them cut and sanded, but I won’t/haven’t written or burned anything onto them yet, partly because I don’t quite feel it’s time. I’m sure that one day soon I’ll wake up and KNOW that it’s time for me to finish them and use them, but for now my pendulum and the occassional card pull are working quite well. I think I may have to do a VR to this one–I love your videos so much!
I love this video. I’ve always, always, always had a very strong sense of intuition, and I’ve always felt that my psychic awareness is something that I need to take time to meditate on and nurture, because I think I could be quite good at it. I LOVE divination, whether it is me doing it for myself or having “my” Psychic do it for me. (Though it is so very much cheaper to do myself, she is far better at Tarot and esp. Astrology than I am!) I love the bit about keeping your tools close to you.
I’d really love to learn more about that “crystal casting”! I love crystals.
I currently do runes and they work really well for me, tarot not so much. I just made my own type of oracle pack that I plan to use soon; it seems more personal.
But yeah I do agree that we are born with psychic ability and develope it as a skill.

good job you gave me a Idear for a video 🙂
Go not to the elves for advise for they will answer both yes and no.
I think it’s both. I think most anyone can develop skills in divination. Some people seem to be naturally better at it. I’m better using some tools or methods than others and I suspect that is the same with other people. Certain methods seem to fit me better and be more natural. So, it’s a little of both.
I think some people are born with a tremendous gift for divination and readings, and other people seem to have to struggle to master it. I especially liked what you said about intuition…Great video. Blessed Be, Alex :-)
Divination…skill or gift? In my opinion, I’d definately say it can be both. I adore your mind and love your perspective on intuition and divination…well said 😉

I beleive its like a muscle that you have to “excersise” to perfect.
Oh, and as Luna and yourself say I personally think that the tools help you to tap into that part of the brain that harbors the knowledge that we all have anyway. Some people find this easier than others. I find the tarot an excellent tool for growing in self- knowledge too, and just thinking of it as a tool for telling the future kind of limits it.
I only really started getting accurate readings once I took the time to find a deck that I really connected with (which wasn’t the style I would have picked out otherwise!). I actually use two decks (one fortune card and then use the tarot to clarify) and I experimented with cutting the deck in different ways and different spreads. I ended up devising my own spread and stop pulling cards when I ‘feel’ it is time.
So basically, I think it’s about taking the time to find what works for you. =)
Divination works different for everybody. And yes we all find that some tools might work at times and other times not. Not to mention sometimes the answer is just NO. Making it truly not exactly science 😉
I love this video, nice to see you’re back :*:*:* I’m practicing with my tarot cards and I think I’m getting more and more in to it. Hope you do a video about how to use cristals in divination 😉 :* blessed be :* love ya:*
It depends on what kind of divination you’re talking about. I have a very dear friend of mine who is psychic, who uses tarot cards as a supplement. Her psychic abilities are stronger than anyone I’ve ever met, which makes her readings even stronger. Though, she really doesn’t need any tools to read you.
Anyway, there are some people though that learn divination tools and find their psychic abilities through. It triggers that part of the brain for them.
Well that’s my thoughts on it.
