Question by Cade: What field of science is research in “time” ?
I’m interested in the subject of time. Our perception, how it works and everything about it I love it. What field(s) of science is this though? I’m in college, what classes would I need, what career could I get?
I can’t say ” i want to research time” so what is the more specific method to go about this. Also maybe this is different but I’ve been told to go for engineering which is also very broad but would “engineering” be a method of “time research” or no?

The study of time, is a direct Physics investigation.
If it is more appealing; not quite so direct is the human factor; more like neuroscience, or even psychology.
Engineering would be one way, although a bit overly concerned with tools and methods, in my opinion.
For time itself (part of spacetime), physics, especially relativity, quantum physics, and cosmology.
For our perception of time, cognitive neuroscience.
You’re getting a late start, but get a good foundation in science, especially physics. For the neuroscience part, biology and chemistry. Math for all.
