@TazHall Mythological Brahma or Yahweh, the jealous and revengeful demi-urge god of Nature created Adam and Eve. Our Father in Spirit is the Real for without him, the person is dead.
@TazHall demi god of nature.
@singularity2007 Yup, many of us have taken the time to read these extra Gospels. Safe to say they are all crap when studied in comparison to the cannon. They’re like bad Bible fanfiction.
@verse1923 Certain books were left out because they were full of random nonsense, were written long after the eyewitnesses were dead, and totally compromise the consistent message that trails back to Genesis. When you know the real deal, it’s not hard ot pick out the counterfeits.
@chaksheba . . . God?
You still did not answer…who created adam and eve?
is not christ forever and always. He would br divine from moment he appeared on earth. Even angels called him savior in the manger. Was not hard for them to know he was divine.
@chaksheba As a child, Jesus didnt have the Holy Spirit. From his baptism onwards, he had the Holy Spirit. On what basis do you say that the Gospels weren’t written by eyewitnesses? That’s what you should be saying about “Gospel of Thomas”, “Gospel of Judas” and the one of Mary, Why? Because they where NOT the ones who wrote those heretical books, they weren’t alive when the books were written. They were from roughly 2nd to 4th century. John’s gospel was written by John in-between 85 and 96AD.
@bobo577 But since you are going down the dead letter route answer me this please.
Gospel cannot be written down in ink on paper but over the tablets of living in spirit hearts, which is by grace. Gospel is the end result or Product of logical reasoning called Logos. Thus, Gospel is received through revelations only. For example, hardly anyone can tell who created Adam and Eve? Do you know the answer? Keep John3 in mind when answering.
@bobo577 you do know that the 4 Gospels in the bible were not written by the who they claim they were right? And also. Why is it hard to believe in Jesus miracle as a baby when he walks on water as an adult? He just all of the sudden at around age 30 is superman? Much is NOT written about him as a child in the cannon bible. There were over 30 Gospels when they chose which ones to put into the “Bible”. More the 1 christain sect. Remember that.

@chaksheba The gnostic gospels were written AFTER the eyewitnesses were ALL dead. One of them says Jesus imparted wisdom when he was a baby. The first actual miracle Jesus ever performed, written by an eyewitness, John the Apostle was that Jesus turned water into wine, AT the age of 30. Don’t dare accuse me of been brainwashed, Even secular scholars who don’t believe the bible will admit that John’s Gospel was written in the first century.
I also bet the speaker does not even know who died on the cross.
The gnostic Gospels might have been written bc AS were the other Gospels TY. But oral tradition dates it earlier then written. This speaker is brainwashing people.
@bobo577 Fake? No proof in that. Do your research and stop listening to the Lords of churches. You have been brainwashed.
@verse1923 They, the leaders were guided by the Holy Spirit. The Gnostic Gospels are fake historical books, especially the gospel of Judas. The one of Thomas has a false teaching that Jesus performed miracles as a child. He couldn’t do that without the Holy Spirit and he didn’t receive the Spirit UNTIL his baptism. Don’t assume they “cherry picked” books. The leaders weren’t stupid and thank God they recognised the Gnostic Gospels as fakes.
@bobo577 The only reason why there are seen as reliable is because a random group of church leaders a very long time ago got together and cherry picked what they did and did not want to teach. They aren’t reliable at all.
I have one thing to say about the Gnostic Gospels.
FRAUDULENT
Only Mark, Matthew, Luke and John are credible. The book of Enoch is good history and it’s credible but it is NOT the word of God and has such you CANNOT include it in scripture. All you need in your scripture is the 66 books that comprise the Bible and NOTHING else.
@FreelancePatriot76 Wow! you know nothing about your religion do you? Are you one of those brainwashed Christians that gets dressed up in their most expensive clothes on Sundays and goes to church even tho it is forbidden in the bible (1Tim2:9) or are you one of those people that cooks a big slack of ham on *ster Sunday even tho it is an odor that is displeasing to YHWY? ..learn something today: Jude (Jude 14-15) refers to the book of Enoch (Enoch 1:9) Why? because it’s TRUE Christianity
@singularity2007
Wow you never read the bible did you.
The gnostic gospels make the serpent in the garden the great liberator.
@wetweasel56
Wow… did you make that up? Or is that Dr. Seus.

We have very well-documented alternative gospels that are no more or less dependable than the four in the Bible. Denying this is denying reality and a consensus of historical experts.
The gnostic gospels were used widely by Christians until Bishop Athanasius condemned them. If you read the Gospel of Thomas it has a lot of the same parables that the 4 gospels in the New Testament include. If you are seeking the “truth” then you should research all of the history of Christianity, not just what the Romans wanted us to know.
The whole problem is that no one is going to believe in God as long as you have religions. After a person gets enough information about the history of religion they can see it is clearly man made. However, that does not mean there is no God, it just means the Christians made up the attributes to the concept.
