Question by transcendself: Does anyone understand the transcendental consciousness aspect?
Here’s the way I see it, simply…. We are all already dead on the spiritual level, because to an immortal or eternal spiritual being, the loss of consciousness, is death, and we are all spiritually unconscious while physically conscious. The object of “physical” life should be to regain full spiritual consciousness, thereby overcoming “death” by regaining spiritual consciousness while physically alive. This is in actuality our “life flashing before our eyes” moment of eternity, in which we choose whether we want to live spiritually or die physically. Can you relate?

Answer by Secret Agent of God (BWR)
I don’t believe that I am spiritually unconscious at all.
I don’t believe that I am more physical OR spiritual. I am equal parts of each. My physical body is just a vehicle to carry my spiritual self.
What do you think? Answer below!
As a Christian, I believe Jesus Christ, God’s Son, died on the cross to cancel our sins and we can be forgiven our sins by accepting Jesus Christ into our life as our Lord and Savior forever. Jesus rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven — overcoming death for us. When we become a Christian, we can go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. To get spiritually conscious, we need to become a born again Christian, as we then receive God’s Holy Spirit to guide and protect us and take us to heaven after death. God can help you live a better life if you want Him to. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end — time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God’s blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can’t explain the world’s natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner’s prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: “Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.” I’m Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. You could try out a Christian church and also see about their weekly Bible study group to learn about God’s will for your life. You can pray to God about your daily life.
Finally a question that is not TOTALLY stupid. Where the heck have you been? Your question deserves thought. Sadly, if spiritual consciencious is dead, there is no knowledge to be gained. If however the object of physical life is learn & grow from physical life experience, then perhaps, we accomplish something. Sadly, yahoo q&a does not support dialog, If it did…I would question why you think a flash of light or a moment is as far as physical perception has gone. In any event…thank you for your question.
Yes, there are many people on this Board who understand the transcendental consciousness aspect. Many of my contacts have this understanding.
I can relate to what you say to a degree …
We are not as spiritually conscious as we could be, that is true. But, surely, we are not spiritually dead either? There is awareness of the flickering of spirit in most of us.
It is our awakening to this spiritual aspect of ourselves while we are here in physical form that is required.
I would agree wholeheartedly that: “The object of physical life should be, (to use this blessing), to regain full spiritual consciousness, …. ”
Namaste
It is the object of my life.. Biological ascension though.. Maybe a little different from what you say..
No still not acceptt death as unavoidable, crazy huh?..
Sometimes I don’t think I can get anywhere anymore, but I am mixed up in something..Hard to stop.. I may try the shrooms.. They test strong on my circuit..

The Transcendental Argument for the Existence of God
This is an attempt to demonstrate the existence of God using logical absolutes. The oversimplified argument, which is expanded in outline form below, goes as follows: Logical absolutes exist. Logical absolutes are conceptual by nature, are not dependent on space, time, physical properties, or human nature. They are not the product of the physical universe (space, time, matter), because if the physical universe were to disappear, logical absolutes would still be true. Logical Absolutes are not the product of human minds, because human minds are different, not absolute. But, since logical absolutes are always true everywhere, and not dependent upon human minds, it must be an absolute transcendent mind that is authoring them. This mind is called God.http://www.carm.org/secular-movements/atheism/transcendental-argument-existence-god
