ok this question is for people that do wicca and magic stuff. I have read almost every book on witches and magic and i just can’t do it (not black magic) anyone know how to really become a witch?
yeah it dose ppl really go to witch skool..
i read in a book that if you cast some thing on some one it will come back on you 7times worse. Is that true?

Don’t go there… very dangerous. Why would you want to?
Maybe something or Someone is keeping you from being able to do it.
I have a friend who practices Wicca and she is part of an actually society. You should try looking something up on the internet and maybe get in contact with some practicing witches.
The only magic there is comes from the devil and his demons. Beware. I have read about Wiccan and they don’t really use magic and spells. They worship the earth. Be careful with magic, it can only lead to trouble.
Oh dear. You can’t “really become a witch” because you either are or you aren’t. It’s in the blood, the heritage. It’s a lifestyle, not a trick. I’m sorry, but it’s not going to work.
First, you need to become more spiritual and learn to appreciate life and nature. True Wiccans find magic all around them—magic is not something that you “do.” Spend some quiet time sitting under a tree, watch the beauty of a sunset, feel the breeze on your skin and give thanks.
You are making it much too hard.
All Faiths are founded upon a ‘belief’.
Every faith has at its core value the belief that we can affect our surroundings through the intervention of something greater.
Witchcraft has at its core the belief that it cannot be a single deity as there exists nowhere in Nature that singularity.
Witchcraft holds to the older premise that it must be a duality, a male and a female aspect of “The Divine”.
Some call them the “Lord and the Lady”, some by the names of the two Deities in question (there are over 450 Deities out there, in the Celtic Pantheon alone).
The power of magick comes from faith. It also works by visualizing what you need/want and a way to get it. Not all spells will work, some should simply not be done.
If you want to find someone to teach, look up on http://www.witchvox.com . The catch is you sound like you are under 18 and no one ethical will teach you without your parents permission. Few will teach you even with permission of your parents until you pass your 18th birthday.
Wicca is a religion and there is nothing more magical about casting spells than if you were a good Christian or Muslim or Jew who prayed faithfully. It is a commitment to beliefs so you have to believe in what they believe. There is nothing glamorous about it.
I studied a lot of different books about Wicca when I was in my 20s, and I think the techniques are basically tools for helping you focus and get what you want. It’s not really magic, where you say, “Boy, I wish I had a chocolate milk shake,” and poof, you have one in your hand. That kind of magic only exists in our imaginations.
But, it provides tips and techniques for helping you get a chocolate milk shake — first you do a spell or ritual that focuses your subconscious on your conscious wishes. Then, the subconscious goes to work. It notices your friend Kathy, with the car, who goes to McDonald’s every Thursday, and she is sooo generous with giving rides. It also notices your friend Sarah, who is also friends with Kathy, likes McD’s and happens to owe you a couple of bucks. So, you hook up with Kathy and Sarah, wind up at McD’s and boom, you get a chocolate milkshake. (-: And if you aren’t paying attention consciously, then it seems like FATE has handed you your CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE!!!!
So, it isn’t really magic — but it works! Sometimes your subconscious mind is really more effective at making things happen than your conscious mind is. You’ll have noticed in EVERY book, they say something like, “The more effort you put into it, the better results you’ll get.” That’s too true — you don’t get something for nothing. But Wicca can help you do something to get something. That’s where the magic is.

Witches have been around for a long time.Many people claim witches don’t exist, or their powers are simply deemed as fake or staged.It is hard to really explain or describe a witch. A stereotypical witch would be an old,craggy,ugly wrinkled woman, with a large nose and a huge wart somewhere on her face, the witch would constantly wear black & would have a black cat as a companion….
BOY HAVE THINGS CHANGED!! Witches nowadays could be anybody, of any age. They can look like anything, they could be your girl next door, you would never tell.Of course witches have maintained their old trademarks with spells, and rules. Being a witch doesn’t mean being Evil. Witches are usually peaceful spiritual beings in touch with the world, YET i must fret that there are witches that tend to be evil, witches that have pleasure in doing evil things, and cursing peoples, and unfortunantley that rule doesn’t always seem to apply, the Witch doesn’t always get it back X3, infact it is like a person that is fearing of God, the person would know that if he was to murder another human, they would be deemed to Hell…..After the murder, God hasn’t seemed to do anything.
Since the 16th Century witches have been claimed as being evil, and being part of Satan, often women that had a suspicion of being a witch, would have her hands tied together, she would be thrown off a bridge to a raging river. If the witch was to float, she was to be picked up at the other end of the river and un-tied and let free. Yet if you didn’t float back up, you were guaranteed to be a Witch, they often died of Drowning…Yet many would be sure that this method must have killed many Innocent females.
Another Method of being able to tell if one was a witch or not was simply from Physical appearance, if the woman had two Crowns on her head, she would instantly be noted of being a witch and would be killed off. Most witches by the 17th Century were killed off by being burnt at the Stake.
One thing I personally was awkuard about was the fact that there haven’t been many movies based on Witches. I find the topic of witches to be VERY interesting, as they have had many centuries of being Evil and a trecherous part of the Society, when often they were not. I have seen the Blair Witch Project, i enjoyed it thoroughly. The Blair Witch was an interesting witch to study, as many Facts & Myths surround the witch, she was one of the most famed Witches, along with the Bell Witch. I have written a film based on Bloody Mary, it is based upon a witch called Mary Worth, she was an Evil Witch that supposedly died at the Stake. Yet after many harmless experiments by harmless children (Particularly Girls) Fun Jokes usually turned into Deadly Nights.
Now im very sure most of the Population has seen the famed Film “The Blair Witch Project”. As soon as the opening notes came in, people were drawn into the film. The Introduction reads “In October of 1994, three student filmmakers disappeared in the woods near Burkittesville, Maryland, while shooting a documentary. One year later, their footage was found.” Instantly this would draw us to think that the Story is based on a true story, the Documentery look and feel also dragged us into the film and made us feel sorry for the Characters. Yet now, news has it that the Entire Blair Witch project was STAGED. The official Blair Witch page, that was filled with myhtical photos of the witch and its alleged witnesses is said to be entirely FAKE. Yes thats right, even at the end of the film, the produces even point out that it is entirely based on Non-Fiction. The characters you saw in the film, are alive and well today, infact moving on to future endeavors.

First of all you really need some natural ability I guess.
Second, the coming back 7 times thing, if you didnt know that then you cant be that well read in wicca, coz that is like rule 1! You need to really understand what you are doing, you cant just say a few words burn a few candles and hope that it works, you need to understand why you are saying those words, and why you are burning those candles. I would say lean all you can first and when you understand it all, then it MIGHT work for you
OK Hun your a little confused. i am by definition of the dictionary a Witch. why because i practice the religion of Wicca. i cast some spells but prefer not to call them that because its been to hyped up by Hollywood. real Wiccans belief in the three fold rule so were you got the number 7 is beyond me. three times good and three times bad. let the divine be with you if this what you really believe. ~*~Blessed Be~*~

Just how many books have you read? I doubt you have read them all, or even half of them. I have a veritable library of books on Wicca, Witchcraft and Spells, and there are loads more out there that I don’t have.
Also, to the person who said it is on the blood, it is not. You don’t have to be born a Witch, and most aren’t, nor do you need special powers or natural ability.
I have been practicing for ten years, and I still have lots to learn. It doesn’t come to you overnight, nor can you simply do a spell and expect it to work. It takes practice and knowledge, and also a lot of belief in what you are doing.

***Why not get a teacher? I have one, he knows what he’s doing. perhaps you should look at some older books besides Ravenwolf and company since they seem to barf crap out and on to sheets of paper.

***No, It’s as fake as the three fold garbage. Mages and witches back in the day didn’t have any reservations towards cursings or spells on others, but they did it when nessessary, not on a whim…They had their own ethics I suppose. No, the 7 times worse is New Age, it’s fake…unless you believe it.
