Question by Joe Bob: Where can I find info on nature of fortune telling alchemy and magic in the middle ages?
I have to write a paper about Dante’s inferno discussing fortune telling alchemy and magic in the middle ages. Stuff about the Catholic church. and I could really use some secondary sources. Please leave links and any advice. I am having a tough time finding the info I am looking for. But, I know it must be out there.

A book called ‘The Devinci Code: Decoded’
Can’t remember the author. It refutes the novel with facts about the (ugly) ancestry of the church. It’s only about a hundred pages with easy references.
Well, Alchemy has nothing to do with fortune telling, which should be really called Illusions and chance. The catholic church attempted to take control over all of the world, by spreading lies about what would happen if one crossed the church. The pope, with power unsurpassed by means of manipulation of all the worlds super-powers, became the head of all Christendom. Dante’s Inferno discussed all of the sins of man, and what level of hell each man (or woman) would go to for each of those sins. A sort of propaganda made by the catholic church it seems. The church was too caught up and corrupted by power, they did not see the truth behind the bible, and the word of God. The bible is not a set of true stories that happened, and you will be smitten if you decide to live your life a little different than others. The bible is out of date, and all it is is a set of guidelines and examples to conduct yourself to be presentable in the civilized world.
Hello Joe Bob,
Here are a couple sites for you.
http://www.crystalinks.com is one place I began.
Go to http://www.crystalinks.com/alchemy.html to be pointed to the alchemy page.
http://www.sacred-texts.com/index.htm is a little heavy but is full of sacred books.
http://www.sacred-texts.com/alc/index.htm points toward alchemy.
