2:00—– ungodly sign, really
In the scriptures you would find God telling you to sing and dance to praise him, he doesn’t say you have to do it well. This is a beautiful prayer and when internalized it has the potential to help people grow immensely. God bless.
@bondservant007 Thanks for uploading videos that inspire me to worship God! The Newsboys’ music blesses me and lifts my soul AND puts me in mind of God’s Word. The lord inhabits the praises of His people! The modern-day Pharisees who criticize the worship of others would do well to be reminded that the elder brother didn’t enter into the Father’s feast because of his hardhearted religiosity. I pray that God keeps us from temptation to judge them, and thus become just like them. Peace!
amazing song 🙂
i think this is the best song of Newsboys… there is a big anointing on this one
0:47, like to know where that came from?
Lord, Your Presence is my pleasure …=)
amen brother live for HIM
tall: There is nothing wrong with honest debate as long as people focus on God’s word and principles while doing so. 😉 CJ
Not going to argue with you; that is unChristian like. LOL So I will concede and say point taken. 🙂
tall: Of course it’s not “required”, it’s simply showing RESPECT to our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Analogy: Like wearing jeans and a flannel shirt to church when we have better we can wear. One way shows more respect (because He is in our presence there) while the other is casual and simply says “I’m here”. If the Governor or the President (no matter WHICH President is in office) came to town we wouldn’t wear jeans and flannel to meet them, so why not dress better in God’s house?
That is not a requirement, and not everyone does that. But I always do, although sometimes I get lazy and type “he” instead of He. LOL I know He’s more concerned with my relationship with Him than whether I capitalize His name though. 🙂
My absolute favorite of theirs. I love many of their songs but this one moves me more than any of theirs. It is their magnum opus in terms of worship. 🙂
seriously beautiful movie, song and art… i’d watch it for either alone, so thanks for the encouragement-symphony together
i stand in agreement
yes, i agree
I love you God!
There is a difference between judging (discernment, weighing the good of something) and condemnation. 🙂
the artwork is the bomb man!!! and this song is like nuclear if we’re going with the bomb analogy!!! lol i am such a nerd.
music: Scripture says we are to correct each other out of love based on His word. To NOT do so is to condone what they are doing…. We are not “judging” them, just showing concern for them by correction.
Pony: Please be aware that anytime you write God or Jesus you capitalize The names out of respect and love….
The world, the devil and our sinful old man still strives against us; we need to pray for one another for strength and grace to fight the good fight of faith. Please, if we ought to love our enemies, how much easier it is to love each other.
In His grace.
The Scripture tells us to love one another with a Christ-like love to every believer because we are all one in Him, in the body of Christ. We all have different opinions about many things in life. The church of Corinth was divided for who baptized who; let us not be divided by petty differences. Let love cover a multitude, so the world will know that we are His by our love for one another. In this world, we are not perfect by no means; but a day is coming when we all will have redeemed bodies.
yeh we tend to like the bible says pick at specks in our brothers eye before our own
Winwood……………masterful job on the Hammond Organ, nothing sounds like a B3 paired with a Leslie speaker
Clapton excels with not only his playing but, his vocals as well. One of the best I’ve seen, sung from the soul as is his guitar.
Wow!
Much as I respect Clapton, I think he should have just left the vocals to Winwood cos the man has got the soul in his voice.. Can’t help feeling that Clapton was trying to outdo/match Winwood. Well, he needn’t have to cos he’s god of the guitar. To me, this round goes to Winwood!
The voice of Steve Winwood is soulful and very cool.
Winwood is OK singing, and Clapton is a”good” guitarman? Listen and learn mon ami.
winwood is ok singing, but clapton is a good guitarman, not a singer.-
Funny thing, Derek will prove to be their equal.
fucking Amen old dirty hippies.
Thank you for this song! Missing good people!
BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you!!!
super super brilliant as they always were and are
Beautiful.
Steve winwood blows Eric Clapton away on this song and in general Steve Winwood rules.
Last chorus: If you analyze the way the two of them layer their vocals, it’s almost canonic imitation, it’s almost counterpoint…
Winwood and Clapton, Twin brothers of different mothers.
@jazzmann94 amen!
So Beautiful…..
Marvellous song! We all need the presence of the Lord!
Terrific song despite the religious overtones.
I’m a big fan of Winwood and Clapton. It was nice to see Derek Trucks in there, I’m surprised he’s modest enough to be playing rhythm when he’s the one of the most proficient slide guitarists out there.
WOW Thanks for posting man. This was one of my favorite tunes @ the show. Such soul, such spirit wow wow wow … consider myself fortunate to have been there.
The presence of the Lord is the greatest thing that we have got!
clapton is god
What a Fantastic song,so much Talent on one stage!!!
@dandalora Eric may have had a conversion experience in the past. But it didn’t stick.
I’m glad they got back together after all those years since Blind Faith days. They both matured well and sound great!
