Question by Hana: I am very interested in counseling “mindfulness” to others- what branch of psychology should I pursue?
I am very interested in the concept of mindfulness and therapy that teaches present-centered thinking, meditation, positive thinking, etc…I would like to be a counselor and am planning on getting my masters soon. What would be the best branch of psychology/counseling to get my masters in? Any information or advice is greatly appreciated!

Hello,
try to find more about person centered psychotherapy( Carl Rogers) – is a non directive method, based very much on “here” and”now”…I think is very close to what you are looking for. I am now in a 4 years postgraduate training and I am very enthusiastic about it.
