Question by Zombie: Have you ever wished you could live your life in the world of your dreams?
Because in our dreams there is so much more to offer, so much more mystery and magic. So much more passion and emotion. A chance for genuine transcendence from the lame old ordinary world.
So if you had the chance to kiss the world goodbye and live out the rest or your life in a dream would you do it?

Yes. My dreams are so much more interesting than life, it’s disappointing to wake up. 🙁

i live it in second life .com
I would rather wake up from this dream than to get bound up in another.
The only thing that is the dream part is $$$. I want more.
Otherwise, I’m pretty happy (well except for the diabetes).

No, I’m happy with my life. I have a good relationship with my wife and I have a bright future. Have you tried maybe rock climbing or sky diving, that’ll wake you up a bit.
Indeed, I have found that my own dreams are much more interesting and much happier than the life I wake up too. But live there? No, because if I lived in the world of my dreams, they would not be special anymore. I would have nothing to look forward to every night as I went to sleep, nothing to wrap my head around as I awake every morning. So no, I would not live in the world of my dreams, only because glimpsing it is so much more fun. 😀
Not for a million dollars. My dreams are not the stuff of comfort. In one of my dreams I suffered such a shock (a very angry man in military dress shot me in the heart) that my heart stopped beating. The only thing that saved me was that my unconscious self (or God) showed me an alarm clock in my dream. When the alarm went off I was so surprised that my heart gave a huge squeeze and I started breathing again.
Most of my dreams involve the fast kind of zombies. So, it wouldn’t be ordinary but I don’t know that I’m up for that much running.
Only if I could be guaranteed that it was a good dream.
Who would not wish of the world of perfection?
But i would rather stay in this imperfect world than to go to the world of dreams, cause of the word itself DREAM. meaning not real,it’s just an illusion
no way, I am fine in the world of reality.
As tempting as it seems I am afraid that I have way too many responsibilities in the land of the living to just float off, not that I don’t want to, trust me it really does sound good right now.
The dreams I have are not even that elaborate, and in all reality I should be able to live them out, but alas it seems that for the moment I am going to have to bide my time, soon enough though.
what if it turns out to be nightmare, and you can’t get out.
That’s exactly what we ARE doing. Any more excuses?
No; my dreams tend to be very stressful, about stressful times in my life.
of course. if we did harp on that (cause its never gonna happen) than we would wake up and “real life” would’ve passed us by and then we would be wondering how we missed out. it never ends. lol.
The only difference between waking states and dream states is that waking states include sensory input.
I am a fan of sensory input, and the movement of the mind, so I enjoy the way these two states are in a perpetual interdependent dance with one another.
I have yet to decide on that. There are still things in real life I would love to see through the end.. Things i believe in, people I care about.. a lot still.
