Question by Bob: Can i unlearn a talent in WoW and still have an enchantment effect?
In WoW i want to get something like Fur Lining in leatherworking, but it requires you to be a leatherworker. What if i get it and use it on something, then i unlearn leatherworking, will the item still have the enchantment or will it dissapear? Will it also work with enchanting a ring with stamina, that also requires you to be an enchanter to get it.

Yes, they will still be there even after u unlearn it, the only difficulty of this is the time and money it takes to level each professional. Your title is wrong btw, its profession, not talent.

I remember I was wondering the same thing when I played WoW.
I think I tried it, but I Don’t remember the resault, and I want you to gamble over it.
My best answet is, Ask someone in the game, they will know for sure. Find a high lvl
go to the trainer and unlearn your skill
it cost to learn some new skill
if you want to keep the enchantment effect you need to keep the enchanting or ask other enchanter to do the job for you
After you unlearn a profession, you will lose all of the bonuses of that profession. For example, if you unlearn leatherworking, you will lose your fur lining. If you look at your bracers after unlearning leatherworking, it will have the fur lining enchantment in red, and will say in red: (Requires leatherworking 405) …think it’s 405… Anyway, my personal advice is to just not waste the money on learning a new profession if you’re just going to unlearn it… there is time and gold better spent.
yes the enchantment will still be there, but after you unlearn it, the enchant on the ring will look red, but the effect will still be there
