what is it ,,,,, is it like the show Full Metal Alchemist? like can u make like things apear from no where and make thing move that arnt alive?

uhhh……..no. dont you think mankind would have used it to there advantage by now? the show, although it is amazing, made alchemy a bigger thing than it really is. u cant do that in real life. …..isnt it kinda obvious?

alchemy was the precursor to chemistry.
basically, alchemists worked for the king, nobles or simply set up shops. They sold cures and various “magical” mixtures. the objective that they were most famous for was turnong various objects into gold, most notably lead. Obviously they were unsuccessful at that particular endeavor due to it being impossible without a particle accelerator. however, their science of mixing things and making very careful observations lead to chemistry.
