Why do Christians feel that belief in ghosts is demonic trickery to “lead people down a path of false spirituality”. If I believe in ghosts how is that “false spirituality”? Even the 10 commandments says “no other god before me”, not “I’m the only god”. Serious questions. Just don’t understand this line of thinking.

Okay, so this Christian simultaneously promotes pedophilia in his questions, and denounces homosexuality as a perversion of the natural order. Christians are all the same.

Ghosts aren’t dead people coming back.
They’re demons just being deceitful, stupid, little things.
Just one of the many, many fallacies in christianity.

Spirits, ghosts, and thoughts of that area are all characteristics and traditions of early pagan religions. When the Christians began their cultural takeover of western civilization, they demonized every aspect of pagan religions they couldn’t indoctrinate, which involved spirits. Also, some pagan religions were focused on ancestor worship, and a belief that the dead could return and commune with the living about the spiritual world- this threatened the church’s stand that it was the only way to communicate with god.
how are you linking “ghosts” with “no other god”? God says repeatedly in his word that He is the only God.
We mean false spirituality because your loved one’s are no longer here. They are either in heaven or hell. Demons manifest as dead loved ones. If a person dies and has a demon, like many prisons or mental institutions or places where murders have happened..the demons are looking for a new house to inhabit because their old house is buried. Demons are disembodied spirits. They want a new body. It’s a very dangerous thing to play with.
No instances in the Bible teach that disembodied spirits of dead people roam the earth; rather they go to their destinations. What the Bible does teach is we wrestle against demonic spirits. Eph. 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
They create these paranormal manifestations to direct people toward a false spiritual understanding away from the true spirituality.
Because the Bible says
“ONCE APPOINTED MEN WANTS TO DIE AND THEN JUDGMENT”
according to this verse and many more every man dies ONE time and enters heaven or hell…then waits for the judgment of Christ to be cast into eternal hell the lake of fire or heaven aka the New Jerusalem/Holy City of God
So according to the Bible there are no such things as spirits because all humans right after death goes to their eternal destiny which will not change after judgment. So there can be no spirits of the dead communicating with the living..If such spirits appear they are demons pretending and fooling the living.
The Bible also says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord..proving that even spirits that appear to be “good” are nothing but evil because all those that are saved by the blood of Christ go to be with the God right after death.
The Bible teaches there is only 1 life 1 death 1 Judgment

The 10 commandments go deeper and say that God is aware that men has made many false gods but He the LORD YAHWEH will not share His glory with another. There are many God’s YAHWEH is aware of this but none bring salvation worship of other god’s only bring the wrath of YAHWEH the God of Israel.

Well after Christ assended into Heaven he let loose The Counseler, Holy Ghost, upon His people. And Test the spirits with Love according to Paul. Iggnorance is bliss, dont hate people for this then that make your spirit not of Love. Im just sayin.

The word ghost is and old English word, meaning spirit, and of course Christians believe in spirits, God is a Spirit and so are we, all of mankind that is. We have a soul and we live in a body made of flesh, blood and bone.
However, we know that Satan as well as all angels, fallen and otherwise are also spirits, and demons are very evil dead people,yes, disembodied spirits(human beings) and they along with Satan and all of his fallen angelic cohort do use trickery on the living whenever and however they can and sometimes they do appear in some way shape or manner and pretend to be deceased loved ones in an effort to trick, deceive or scar you to death. Do not be unaware of the wiles if the devil.
