no, it’s in your brain, plain and simple.
It’s like this, head trauma and brain damage affects your consciousness. When the house next door collapses, it doesn’t affect your consciousness in any way whatsoever. So there is no question where consciousness is.
Give your answer to this question below!
It’s right next to delusion.
Sometimes I have a hard time telling them apart.
Consciousness is the creator of the concept of location.
So consciousness can only be located, where consciousness believes it is located.
This is to say, it has no inherent location, because “location” is an idea about consciousness, created by consciousness.
Location is illusion.
Presence is real.
Presence to the thoughts and experiences and perceptions this location is right here, and right now, and this is true for everyone. There is no other location or time than right here, and right now, for you and for everyone.
FRIEND,
IT IS a +2b+3y, and Heart is is the axiom point.

Where indeed.
Interesting isn’t it.
Being nonphysical, consciousness does not require a particular place within a space to exist at.
Is it more appropriate to say that it exists everywhere or nowhere?
Maybe the real question is, is there even any difference?

We can do a simple test and show that consciousness is external of the brain. Move your hand, now ask what causes your hand to move. Now ask what caused the nerve endings to fire? Now ask what caused the chemical/electrical synapses to fire? At this point it is not illogical to assume a spiritual or non material answer. However, the mind is dependent on the brain yet cannot be reduced to it.
You can’t really say everywhere, although it is technically true. Because, like gravity which is everywhere, it only really counts when it is focused and concentrated enough to warp space, in the form of planets, stars, etc. So as an agent of consciousness, you bear it, like a beacon in the darkness and the focal point of it is your awareness, where your attention is. This may explain why quantum physics presents so many mysteries: the observer is part of the experiment.
Consciousness is everywhere if you feel your mind without thought you will feel spacious, you will feel as though there is no point where you are. Also everything that has energy has a consciousness to it because consciousness is also energy and energy is everywhere.
It’s an extract of all that fed in your mind since childhood as moral and discipline. It is in the memory and alerts you like a computer when you do something against what you stocked in your mind.
I was going to give a good scientific answer about how that question is still puzzling even the greatest minds of our age, till I read “JGally’s” answer. Damn that’s good!
you can find anything in the box.

Air is everywhere on earth . Without it, I am unconscious
It’s not nice to block people.
Consider your mind as an iceberg…………
Your consciousness is the ‘tip’ of it.. for you and all to see and operate from….
Here now. Purpose.

In most of the cases it is hidden somewhere in genes.
And sometimes questions like these stir it and it surfaces in human relations too.
Consciousness is in the mind of man!
Universal awareness is everywhere, in memory. Memory is inherent in all form and function. When memory is translated into anticipation, consciousness arises, along with will and intent. What everything is always remembering is true, natural Law, which is never violated, unlike the mere rules people legislate. Wherever there is volition, planning or purpose, there is consciousness.
