Question by Erin P: Where can I find volunteering opportunities involving sexual awareness?
I’ve researched some information into Planned Parenthood with out success. I don’t know of any other organizations that are involved in sexual awareness and things of that nature, so I’d greatly appreciate it if there were suggestions. Information that might be handy: I live in Southern California and I am a minor.

Pay a visit to your nearest Planned Parenthood clinic and ask to speak to their volunteer coordinator.

You could ring your nearest rape crisis centre and ask to speak with one of their community development/education workers. Maybe you might like to work with them to put something together to present at your school? You’ll find their number in the phone book. You could also ask your parents, teacher or doctor for ideas on who to contact in your area.
