Sign me up. How do i get on the DC clinical trials?
Poor monkey’s!? POOR FREAKING MONKEY’S!? Who said that friggin comment? There are people all over the world in wheelchairs and they have been for many of years, poor freaking people. At least those monkey’s are running on treadmills. I hope the FDA doesn’t drag their feet on this one.
I can’t get enough of this video. This guy is a true pioneer. Now if I get crippled I don’t have to worry as much.
Err they paralyzed the monkeys and, after treatment, they undoubtedly sacrificed them. It sucks for the monkeys but the pain they’re suffering will help untold amounts of people, and probably animals as well(I know two people off the top of my head who didn’t put their cats down after they had their spines broken and who would pay out the ass for them).
@kbo206 Long story long
Amazing.
I mean InViro Therapeutics!
Yes, the monkeys most certainly were paralyzed by the lab for this experiment. That’s both the benefit and the moral dilemma of being this planets dominant species. We get to experiment on other animals instead of ourselves, but where do we draw the line? I certainly am 100% for this type of research. However, weapons testing is a bit much for me to stomach.
THANK YOU! We now have more hope than ever before, I know without a doubt I will walk and run again! Tears can’t stop, tears of joy, finally tears of joy!
This goes public October 1, 2010, I was shot exactly three years ago October 1st. I’ll take this as a sign! Glory to God and TEDxBoston.
Thank you
@av01d To be fair it’s really hard to find paralyzed monkeys
@weinerschnitzelboy gotta remember that they were paralyzed first by the experimenters.
@SparkOfImagination
I’m planning to buy a few shares of the company when it goes public.
Amazing video and research, feel really sorry for the “control” monkeys, hope they get the treatment too after having to hobble on the treadmills.
Incredible.. 🙂
oh look a grain of salt
.
Fuck YouTube I’m trying to watch this on a very high speed connection and it freezes every 15-30 seconds.
@lesleyfirman they were already paralyzed. there are many zoos that have to move paralyzed monkeys. This will help more than humans.
Fuck people who are against animal testing and stem cell research!
They want people to stay paralyzed or even die: they’re indirect murderers!
Science is amazing. I really hope that this will be able to help more people in the near future.
@lesleyfirman HEY. They got treated for free, so that’s not sad for them. And they helped science.
this is fuking amazing!!
“….they can fix a spinal, if u got the money. But not on their benefits, not in this economy.” Avatar
This guy is an evil genius…
And fuck those monkeys, it is incredible that they can make people walk again!
@lesleyfirman they helped further medical science. they helped change human lives.
@lesleyfirman you are an idiot my man!
