Question by Tupac: What are the specific laws of which we must move through the paths of the universe?
the law of the universe is the law of perception to consciousness in the mind as perceived of reality.
I flip a coin, there are two sides, you judge the chance of heads or tails as 50/50 because you perceive the coin to land two ways, but only at one time… else there would be more than one coin. Lets say if the law of the universe is that each time the coin must land on heads and tails but only one of these will be perceived by the observer… then how could you be cheating yourself by restricting your belief to an assumption that there is always a 50/50 chance to you? Could there be a way to choose which reality you want to observe? Of course your choice of reality would be restricted to what other observers expect to be realistic odds or 50/50… but if i kept observing 100% heads and choose that as my observation, and other observers kept track, would their record differ completely from moment to moment to my observation, yet to them always remain constant as 50/50 odds?
We observe something to either exist or not exist. We know for sure that consciousness exists because we observe ourselves to be so, but reality appears to be relative to observation, because what reality exists where there is not consciousness to observe? We assume that our thoughts manifest from consciousness, and that we progress from not knowing to knowing of things which exist that we do not know of, or unknown possibilities from there being “odds” of something happening each day we do not know of, after we know, then it is a past event which has happened.
Could we be “there” in a sense, and our perception of being separate from others could be called “it”. So when we observe others we talk about “it”, or our perceived separate ness from others. It appears to me that “it” is simply the odds of something happening. So I see the universe could be viewed as many paths of which for each “possibility” that could happen, and the universe being infinite and timeless, is perceived through a filter of being finite and progressing through the paths of the universe according to specific laws.
For each choice you had, there had to be paths for each you may have chosen, as there must be for each choice you will have.
So if we have specific laws of which we must move through the universe, then how are we any different than planets who must follow their orbits?

Mine is a two cent theory as any and all has to fall heads or tails, laws will be broken in all respects and eventually changed! Life is not based on luck but the energy of love! Its your choice how you spend your time!

Question by ryan: Does anyone agree with my theory that happiness might just be a specific force on our consciousness?
We live in a physical reality. Where feelings, perceptions and thoughts can be classified into different forces. Example: We perceive the color blue because of the impact of the blue wave length on our eyes. Also, sadness comes from an imbalance of chemicals in our brain. If our consciousness is attracted to certain forces, then just maybe we can find a spectrum of forces that can cause only happiness. Of course this would deal with very sophisticated technology that we don’t have yet.

Question by Natalie Elizabeth: How does Astrology actually work? What is the specific science behind it?
I’m very interested in Astrology, I feel my sun & moon signs strongly represent me, but am I just projecting? I would really like to know the science behind it and how it can be so accurate. My friend is a nihilist and I’ve been trying to explain it to him, but I don’t know enough.

Question by Daniel Dawning: Do Sunni, Shiites and Ismaelis all have Sufi mystics, or is Sufism connected to a specific sect?

What sect of Islam was the poet Rumi, or Nasrudin, or Al Hallaj. (I must admit, those are the only three Sufi names I know from their writings)

Best answer:

Answer by super-nova
There are no sects in Islam. Creating and altering the religion would not make them Muslims because they do not follow the Quran or Prophet Muhammed PBUH.

Prophet PBUH was not Shia or Sunni, he was A MUSLIM.

God hates those who divide the religion:

“As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, you have no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.” (Quran, 6:159)

Being a believer in Islam, you must declare that there is no God but God and Muhammed SAW is his messenger.

“…and be not amongst those who join gods with Allah and those who split up their Religion, and become sects – each party rejoicing in that which is with itself.” (Quran, 30:31-32)

Question by siarratango: I’m Looking for the Title of a Specific Children’s Mystery Picture Book?
I’m looking for the title of a children’s mystery book, that I remember from my childhood. Nobody else in the family can remember the title either, so the only thing we have to go off of is certain details we can remember (which unfortunately isn’t much…!) Details as follows:
Children’s’ picture mystery
The book is at least 12-15 years old, possibly older.
*The book had secret codes/words/pictures that were decoded using a decoder that came with the book (possibly in the shape of a magnifying glass?). The decoder was used to like move over certain parts in the book, and a code would appear.
Possibly had a traveling/world theme
Involved a cat (maybe a tabby)
Might have had a sealed packet in the back of the book, with the “answers”.

*We think the biggest aspect to go off of is the decoder, since that is probably uncommon in other books.

I realize this isn’t much to go off of, and is very vague, but it all we can remember. Many, many Google searches have proved useless, so I’m hoping somebody just might be able to place the details to the book title. Any leads or suggestions in any way would be very much appreciated, it is very important!! Thanks so much in advance!!
