Question by Kemo: What is consciousness and what is reality? Is awareness the origin of perception, or the origin of existence?
Mystics like Jesus, Buddha, and Lao Tzu, as well as modern physics, seem to state that everything in existence is simply the motion of energy at different levels relative to each other, all being part of the whole. However, one pervading concept endures: the awareness of awareness, consciousness. Is this phenomenon the root of existence, or merely an effect of it? Why is everything in motion, if that is the case, instead of being at rest and therefore non-relational, or absolute (Nothingness)? Is reality the result of awareness, or is awareness the result of reality?

Awareness cannot exist without reality or existence. They are certainly intertwined, as awareness manifests itself at the very moment the existence has been created.

WOW! You are tackling a topic that has recently become enormously controversial. The cutting edge in mind/body conversations swirls around the rather defensible arguments (Dennett and others) that there is NO CONSCIOUSNESS. I have been grappling with this concept on an online discussion group recently. How can it be that there is no self that thinks, perceives, believes, has a sense of its “self?” But this is the current discussion, and you really will be eons ahead of your classmates and probably your teacher if you have some of this information to contribute.

The human mind does not want to experience God, but to catch it by becoming a specialist in religion and spirituality. All believers of religion and spirituality are because God is one. However, the perception of God’s name, logo and technology differ according to the religion of faith and understanding of God.

All religious and spiritual people claim it is the perception of God. But true God can not be seen, it is out of our language. According to the transformation state of mind, it is an expression of our emotions.  The most common meaning of spirituality is the state, quality, manner, or spiritual being. Spiritual means relating to God or having the nature of spirits. The most common sense of religion is a set of beliefs, values and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader. Having or showing belief in and reverence for God.

“Christian” sees and believes in Jesus Christ (God) and asks the most spiritual. “Hindus” sees and believes in RAM (as God) and spiritual needs. “Muslim” perceives and believes in Allah (God) and believes that they are spiritual All our observing and showing the reflection of the inner self, by invoking the conscience — a subtle house of nature for all

None of the follower of the religion and spirituality has seen the Spirit, God, and agrees to God is one. Religious people can be the Christen religion, Muslim or Hindu. They claim that the perception of God for their religion is true and best book and according to their religion. Proponents of spirituality, without exception, see religion books of all religions are love letters to God from their lords, who have experienced the spirituality of unconditional love.

All religions are tools that help withdraw from attachments, enmity and fear of many things. All religions are tools a tool to purify the mind by redemption of thoughts of selfishness through prayer. Religious leaders and places of worship and religious books are tools of the focus of consciousness to free himself from his thoughts of many accessories, hostility and fear of many things in the world. This gives relaxation to mind based on devotion and trust invoked in the consciousness.

Spirituality is diving deep into the field within itself without being tied to a spiritual leader or a book of religion. Proponents of spirituality, without exception, are free of any ceremony of the church, mosque or temple.  Followers of spirituality depend on meditation and there are many ways of meditation.

Lords of all religions who have lived spirituality – Christen, Moslems and Hindus, etc. are not religious but spiritual. Their authors and supporters of their preaching and religious believers were of specific religion with rituals specifically.

A researcher from any religion can be spiritual without being religious. But to be truly spiritual is to express unconditional love to all, regardless of religion. Religion is to focus on specific beliefs such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. Spirituality is usually focused on itself, the subtle nature or God, which is one for all. Religion is thought to God our knowledge learned from our parents, spiritual leaders and civilization. Spirituality comes from within you is your sense of the unity of God by invoking the conscience of oneself. Religion is the object of your senses and can be discussed with the wisdom of thought. Spirituality is the subject beyond your senses and wisdom of the thought and individual relationships with your inner self and God. You learn the religion but spirituality is an object of meditation in serenity.

Religion is a guide to follow the race to reach God. Spirituality is an experience of God by invoking self-awareness beyond your inner wisdom of thought and language. .

. Many believe that God is by faith and continue the search terms with many rituals and sacred texts of the faith of past centuries and before any conclusion. The ceremony and faith of the scriptures of the religion and spirituality continue to change perceptions, but selfishness is the same.

Some people perceive to consider that there is a God or supernatural being who did not look natural and is a supernatural power is somewhere in the inner chamber of the heart, and it is beyond the reach of their service. They get rid of religious ceremony of faith are able to identify with his inner self. They differ from religious people, but still not to give up his selfishness. They still feel it through selfishness and see God in his humanity. They continue to fear God and do well with morale.

Few are prepared to establish relations with his inner self and the realization of his selfishness. They become familiar path with the true God is one for all, believers and non believers of God. They become aware of the perception of God and spiritual reality.

Some blessed learn to enter the deeper layers of consciousness beyond the selfishness and his wisdom and memory of thought. They have a sense of unity of God is unique to all beings and is omnipresent, omnipotent, and no attachment to the person and is highly moral, eternal consciousness and donors. He is the creator and loving care to all. For him, religion and spirituality are the creation of human thought – everybody love is unconditional right path

Semiotics as a Pathway to Spiritual Science: From the Culture of Addiction to Absolute Freedom

The continuing growth of semiotics signifies increased awareness of global communicative processes. Expansion of the communicative universe through semiotic research furthers the transformation of our contemporary experience. We validate this assertion through semiotic analysis of an everyday object, by which we discover an infinite horizon. With that horizon, we transcend the global culture of addiction and reach spiritual science.

Do you ever wonder if God or something similar really exists? Do you want proof that God exists from a scientific point of view? Do you ever wonder why God rarely, if ever, has an impact on your life? Do you wonder why things like genocide, rape, suffering and murder are allowed to happen? Are you an atheist or agnostic that wants a rational reason to have faith in something that you cannot see, touch or hear? Do you ever wonder which religion is right when there are close to 2,000 on the planet?

Religion: No Good; Just Bad and Ugly

Is our Christian religion really the right religion? Human societies have believed in hundreds of religions, some current, many extinct. Humans have worshiped literally thousands of deities over a hundred thousand or some odd years. All religions, and all deities, can’t all be true. Perhaps none are. Regardless, religion has a lot to answer for.

Question by w_kneberg: How do Consciousness and Perception affect things, as in Quantum Physics?
I know that quarks change when you look at them, and I think that I have heard that photons do to. I’ve also seen on “What the Bleep Do We Know” that jars of water frozen with letters frozen on them, will show specific water crystal patterns in the water for each type of letter. I’ve also heard of a love-hate experiment where the words love and hate were put on different glasses of water, and dye was dropped in each of them, and the one with love taped on it made flowing patterns on them, and the one with hate made it look like sewer water really quickly, the water was turbid. So how do consciousness and perception alter reality?

Best answer:

Answer by Shadow Fish
First off, what the bleep got all of the science wrong. The physicists who appeared in the movie have complained that their statements were edited so that it looks like they said things they did not mean to say. I will tell you why people say consciousness alters reality, although it is not true. It has to do with something called wavefunction collapse.

You can measure attributes of a quantum particle, like energy, momentum, and position. I will use energy as an example, but this would work just as well with position or momentum. There are states that a particle can be in where its energy has a specific value. That is, if you have a million particles in one of the these states, and you measure the energy of every particle, you will get the same result every time. These states are called energy eigenstates.

There are also states that do not have a specific value of energy. That is, if you have a million particles in one of these states, and measure the energy of all of these particles, may find half of the particles have one energy, and the other half of the particles have a different energy. All of the particles were in the same state, but you did not measure the same energy for all of them. This is because the energy of particles in this state is not well-defined. This is called a superposition of states.

Wavefunction collapse is this: when you measure the energy of a particle in a superposition of states, you will find the particle has a specific energy. If you measure the energy immediately after your first measurement, you will get the same value. If you keep measuring the energy, and do not wait much time between measurements, you will keep finding the same value of energy. This is because your measurement of the particles energy has forced the particle into an energy eigenstate. Before the measurement, the particle was in a superposition of states, after the measurement, the particle was in an energy eigenstate.

So, measurements change reality. This is an interaction between the measuring apparatus and the particle. No people need to be involved. You could ask “if no one is around to see the results of the energy measurement, did the measurement force the particle into an energy eigenstate?” This is exactly the same as the question “If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” Maybe you think the answer to this question is no, but the point is that quantum mechanics does prove that perception alters reality anymore than forestry does.

What do you think? Answer below!
