Question by Allen 850: Buddha that represents a higher level of consciousness?
Is there a Buddha that represents a higher level of consciousness, or something similar? I know Amitabha represents perception, is this the closest? I don’t know anything about Buddhism, so I’m just looking for some symbolism here. Thanks!

Yes buddha himself —but ur talking about nirvana and a higher level of consciousness. There is no Buddha persay that represents a higher level but one of Buddhism’s beliefs is in reaching a state of nirvana: # (Hinduism and Buddhism) the beatitude that transcends the cycle of reincarnation; characterized by the extinction of desire and suffering and individual consciousness

Question by : How was Buddha enlightened if his remains were found?
His remains were found and then cremated, but if you get enlightened, your body should enter a different parallel and disappear from the face of the Earth forever.

Please tell me if I am wrong. I am considering converting to the religion of Buddhism.

How did Buddha reach the enlightened stage to find the 4 truths of Buddhism?

The Buddha practiced a number of yogic forms for several years until he realized that fasting and body practices were insufficient to awaken.

Then he sat down under a tree and meditated without stop for six days. On the morning of the seventh day he saw the planet Venus arise in the eastern sky and his mind opened up – enlightenment.

In his first teaching (to his former companions) several weeks after his enlightenment, the Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths, the Middle Way, and the Eightfold Path.

Question by gogo: If Buddha were to really focus on the field of science like physics, will He excel and outcompete Einstein?
Hi.

This is just a thought experiment since Buddha most likely won’t involved himself in the field of practical knowledge like mathematics and science.

But if he really were to do so, do you think Buddha can really outpore his genius and wisdom and create tremendous knowledge and insights in these fields and even outperform Newton and Einstein?

I appreciate your answer, thanks!

Answer by Why do we reproduce?
Yes, Einstein repeated what buddha said. Einstein theory of relativity is intially known as ‘theory of invariants’ what buddha had stated before.
