Question by Artisticat: If a NECROMANCER were real, or even asking about them in books and games, what GOOD could they bring?
I’ve only read of the destruction they can bring, and I am unsure if there is any good that could come from necromancy.
Xenon and Romantic… That’s not exactly answering the question. You fail. :( Thanks though.

Best answer:

Answer by XenonVortex BlackOp Death Eater
Usually they’re portrayed as evil sorcerers who do all kinds of creepy dark magic like raising dead corpses and that sort of stuff. By definition, a necromancer is usually involved in dark magic, so I’m not sure how there could be a “good” necromancer.

EDIT:

Oh really? Well, then excuse me, I’ll try again if that wasn’t good enough. All I’m saying is that it’s described as the “blackest of black arts”, so nothing good would really come out of it. Unless, they summon spirits to give messages to people. And to be fair to Romantic and I, your question is kind of confusing. Not all necromancers are destructive, some of them make a profession out of communicating with summoned spirits and that sort of thing.

Guilty CONSCIENCE.

Tell him. Say, “dude you didn’t mean it & I don’t care, I want it to be the same as before, I’m not worried, you’ve been acting so guilty I know you won’t ever do it again. Come on lets go to a movie or have a Pizza, I’ll buy.”

Question by King: Can you use Time Machine on a card like Mystic Tomato and bring it back to suicide once more?
Technically, Mystic Tomato’s effect activates in the damage step as it enters the graveyard, and if you activate time machine, would that not signify a shift to later in the battle phase? I’m just confused about the timing of the chain, and was wondering if I smash the Tomato or Pyramid Turtle or UFO Turtle or Mother Grizzly or whoever into someone and use time machine to bring them back, can I smash them again for double effectiveness?

Best answer:

Answer by SINFINID
Okay, when you ram the other monster you’d play the machine and declare the tomatoes effect. Since it says to return it right afterwards in the same position then it would still be the same battle phase and you’ll be allowed to atk with it again since it’s considered a new monster. Like using book of moon on marshmallon when someone atks it, it flips again and does 1000 damage. Hope that helps ;)

Question by : How did scholastic teaching of the middle ages bring upon the enlightenment era with atheistic views?
Scholasticism was a form of teaching from St. Thomas Aquinas, who used ancient philosophical views from Aristotle and combined it with Christianity.

Scholasticism broke religion down into a science, bringing about more technical terms to explain God and religion. It reshaped the way how God and religion was explained throughout the middle ages.

Though eventually the middle ages ended with the enlightenment era. And the strange thing about the enlightenment era was that many of the enlightenment thinkers were scholastic teachers!

Best answer:

Answer by J
There is no such thing as the enlightenment.

The reason it has been called that is precisely because the era represents the rise of many atheist leaders who saw themselves as those who would deliver of the world from Christianity.

As part of their propaganda, they labeled their period “the enlightenment” and labeled the period preceding them “the dark ages”.

These labels are not actually accepted by real historians are being representative of the periods in question.
———-
But as far as the question “why the one movement followed the other” the answer I think is fairly simple: sex and disillusionment.

Disillusionment with the church establishment and the way it wielded its power.

And the desire to break from the sexual restrictions that inevitably came with the church establishment.
