Question by CentralSet: Should I plan to wear a suit to a Neuroscience / Cancer biology PhD program interview?
I have no problem wearing dress pants and a dress shirt but ties and my suit coat kind of makes me feel weird.
Can I get through it without leaving a bad impression without wearing a suit and just a buttoned shirt and pants fine?
This is my first of many interviews and frankly it’s at the lowest tier school I am applying too. I am pretty sure i am going to make it in.
I understand a suit for a MBA or something but Neuroscience phd?

Yes, a suit is good. Don’t risk failure just because you were too lazy to tie your tie.

PhD program interview= suit
hands down, no exceptions
You can’t dress casually at such an important interview- wear a suit!
