Question by james s: I’M TRYING TO MAKE A GRAPHIC NOVEL AND I NEED SOOM OPINIONS.a?
Well, I’m 15 years old and I’ve decided to dedicate my life to making comics… Starting with this one! My drawing is pretty decent and I’m gonna make a rough draft in a notebook before I ever make the real thing. As for my story, it starts right in the middle as the main character dies and begins to see flashes of everything up to that point, which is going to take up about 1/2 of the entire comic series. I think of whatever happens after he dies later…

The comic’s genre are action/adventure, SciFi and a little bit of comedy.

Has anyone here ever made and finished their own comic? I know a lot of people can get writers block and give up but I am determined to finish! The main characters are a group of high schoolers with extrodinary powers and abilities, who find themselves on a journey to save the world from bad guys and unsolve all sorts of mysteries, exploiting their pasts and secrets, ect. And stuff like that.

So, what do you think? Can I make a good comic out of this?

Go for it! Comic art is a blast. Take plenty of art and writing classes. Make sure to take up plenty of other hobbies too, because it’s very easy to get burned out. Check out Digital Webbing’s web site. They have classifieds for artists looking for work. Plus message boards, and you can get crits. Good luck!
