Isn’t it obvious that liberals want to keep them poor and give them handouts to keep their voter base?
How can we break the spell and draw them towards smaller government and conservative values?

by letting them know they can have all the guns they want under Republican rule and live in trailer parks their whole lives and spew hatred against a govt. they love but could care less about them….that should work…..

Well, you can not make anyone or any group do anything. You, as a Conservative, can only do your part to carry out your values in the best way possible. You can also try to avoid pushing your view of Conservatism on people because that is what you see Liberals do to people right? So basically, worry about yourself and your view and hope others come around as well.
Of course they use them.. but the blacks are just too uneducated in some cases , too lazy in others, and too well compensated with jobs or favors.. to break away.
First we teach them to read, then comprehend, then register to vote.
There is no such thing as smaller government for the GOP and conservative values is an oxymoron.
Bush grew the size of government at a record pace, and his lies to go to war with Iraq show the true “values” of conservatives and the GOP.

If you are a Republican you can break the spell by not giving the rich permanent tax breaks that add trillions of dollars to the deficit. You can quit taking the side of big business and in particular oil companies. I don’t want a handout. I like working. What I hate is the the Republicans are helping the corporations drive down wages in this country and they are choking the life out of the middle class. Nothing the Republicans do helps the poor. All they care about are helping the banks and their own selfish interests.

Edit: Ok TC , another thing you conservatives might want to do is actually come up with a plan to get us out of the recession instead of saying no to everything the Dems bring up. It will not gain you votes or seats in congess. The latest attempt to block unemployment benefits will blow up in your faces.Why? Because people who are unemployed vote. That means in the next election 14,000,000 votes will not be for the Teabagger candidate or a Republican.

First off TC, allow me to ask you something, one that I think you and your logic can try to comprehend.
You do realize that America was founded on the radical liberal ideology of “Freedom to represent oneself” and “Taxation without representation” to a far more conservative Great Britain?
With that thought in mind, Neither party is “conservative” both are liberal, liberal of two different extremes.
And with that said, no one uses anyone, everyone is entitled to their opinion, their vote does the talking. Unless you can get easily swayed by whatever any news media (another form of liberalism) has to say be it “liberal” or “conservationist”

Republicans have shown us over and over that they care not for the disadvantaged people. Even those who can’t get jobs in this historic ecomonic downturn (that their policies help create) are thrown under the bus. They rail on and on about the cost of extending the unemployment benefits to families that are out of work then defend to keep tax cuts for the very wealthy (which cost much more than extending unemployment)
Republicans have done a fantastic job of convincing you that the poor are taking your hard earned money. They completely draw your attention away from corporations that are making billions off tax credits and tax cuts. You want to know why your taxes are so high? Because corporations no longer pay their fair share. In the 50s corporations and individual tax payers split the tax burden 50/50…now individual taxpayers pay 85% of the bill. Blaming the poor welfare people who live in rat infested projects, get food stamps and a few hundred bucks in cash assistance isn’t our problem. Its the huge corporations that wiggle their way out of paying millions of dollars in taxes and leave the tax payer to pick up the tab.
Break voting blocks and you end the hold on minorities even majorities by both parties.
First step is to end campaign funding completely. Time for income to no longer be a decider in who gets to run for office. Time for an end to the legalized bribary that campaign funds have been fro many years.
2nd step is break up the pork projects so often used to buy off these groups. Line item veto is a start. An end to tag alongs in bills. If it’s not worth passing on it’s own it’s not worth passing at all. No more of this tacking on this or that pork to appropriation bills for the military for example.
Next break both parties. They are equally guilty. So too is the embedded fear of various parties by various groups who’d rather chew their arm off with a rusty cage than vote for party x. New parties mean at least a chance for people for once in their lives to vote purely on issues and integrity rather tan life long animosities. To vote FOR a candidate rather than against.
We need a Constitutional amendment that allows for a run off for the President and other Federal offices to encourage a multi-party system.
Time to at least move in a step toward real Democracy by instituting voter initiatives. It’s OUR nation, let WE THE PEOPLE write some or all of the laws from now on.
Break up the ethnic/religious enclaves. Rabidly attack the cultures that feel they are more important than being American. A nation may have but one culture and flourish. Multi-Culturalism is a failure everywhere it’s been tried. Usually leads to genocide and civil war. We are Americans period. We can dress differently, talk differently but our core culture needs to be aligned. Being American needs to mean something. Some unifying concept that transcends petty differences like religion, ethnicity, etc. Belief in nation, battling corruption, a common language, belief in Democracy, freedom, Free market and human rights are the basics. The core ideals that should be held by %90 of the nation.
We do those things and no more modern slavery as is practiced against so many people who prostitute themselves and betray their nation voting for hand outs that damn the nation and tear us apart as a people.
I good old fashion protest might help. Or a big fat revolt against the government.It works for other countries why not ours. We have to stand up and say enough is enough! These people should be held accountable.Held to a higher standard of living. No more excuses for them they have minds they can learn. If Bill Cosby was their only role model there would be some so called change.But instead their allowed to act ghetto and get away with it. Yeah, Obama and his cronies are trying that with the healthcare reform. They just want to get everyone under their thumb, they want everyone to be dependent on the government. I don’t know how we could break the spell because there are a lot of lazy people out there who don’t want to do anything for themselves, they want everything handed to them. The Democrats know that and offer them things like welfare, and food stamps to get their votes. Unless people start waking up to realize that in order to actually be free you have to be independent, we’re fucked.
