Question by Mimi: Neuroscience internships or summer programs for high school students?
I want to major in neuroscience when I go to college. I am a sophomore in high school and I need something to do this summer. Anything or program that I get into, I want it to be at least in the medical field. Can somebody please help me?

The National Institute of Health has a good one for high school students. The application period closed in November – you have to start looking earlier next year. You could try seeing if there’s something you can do at a local college, but it’s hard enough for some college students to get those jobs, let alone a high school student. Without having a connection at the school, you really don’t have much of a chance.
