Question by letitxxenfoldyou: Need help finding an article on neuroscience and sexual orientation?
I’ve tried several different search terms but I can’t find a concise article. Most are entirely way too long or too involved. I’m looking for -basic- differences in homosexual/heterosexual brains. I’m not writing a paper on the subject so I don’t need a lot of sources, but I do want to write maybe a paragraph explaining how homosexuality can be explained neurologically, so I just need a short article from a credible source.

Try to narrow your search into genetics, rather than brain differences,
In my opinion, you’ll not find external differences, and no studies done claiming
an actual difference have been validated or proven by any credible source.
The difference lies within the brain…that part that controls what arouses you
automatically, like a reflex action. Humans have no control over what arouses
them sexually. hetero’s don’t choose, homo’s don’t choose. It’s just there
in the genetic make up within the brain. Having feminine characteristics is
another area different from sexual orientation. Having masculine traits in females
doesn’t mean she’s a lesbian.
