Question by .: Is this science curriculum ok? What science courses are totally required?
In ninth grade I studied abroad so the science class was just called science (in Argentina), I couldn’t pick the science course I wanted to take.
So for my freshman year, I did ”Science”. For my sophomore year, under the advice of my counselor, I took Biology-LAB, for my junior year I am taking Chemistry and for my senior year I want to take environmental science or physics. Which should I take?
Also, what science courses are mandatory? Can I just skip chemistry and go for physics in my junior year and ES for my senior?
Thank you!

The “mandatory” science courses differ from school to school, but i think you have to take atleast 2 out of the 4 that you mentioned. Talk to your counselor and see what courses they offer. Biology is the easiest in my opinion then chem and then physics. And about skipping courses, again, you have to talk to your counselor, but most schools have you take them in order until senior year. It depends. Get all the course info and make a decision on which courses you are interested in.
