Question by Kasane Teto: How do I become able to play Mystic Melody in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Gamecube?
I am trying to get to the lost Chao in the City Escape level (I know where it is) But when I get to the little old ruins, all I can do is look, and Sonic says, “Looks like some old ruins.” But it won’t let me play Mystic Melody! I can’t get to the Chao without it. Help?

To play Mystic Melody, you need to collect the level-up item for each individual character. Here’s what levels to find them in:

Sonic – Final Rush
Shadow – Final Chase

Tails – Hidden Base
Eggman – Sand Ocean

Knuckles – Wild Canyon
Rouge – Dry Lagoon

If you already have the Mystic Melody with Sonic and for some reason it’s just not letting you play, then it sounds like a problem with the game. Keep trying.
