Question by Sarah P: As a Christian, do you believe that divination, augury, sorcery, charms, wizards, and necromancers exist?
If not, then what do you make of this verse?
“There shall not be found with thee any one…that useth divination, one that practiseth augury, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer.” – Deuteronomy 18:10-11
If you do, can you provide any evidence that such things exist?

Geez… sounds more like a D&D supplement than the Bible.
What do you think? Answer below!
Yes I believe they exist. Believing in God kind of sets me up for that.
However, I can no more prove that than I can prove the existence of God. I just believe.
yes… they exist….. and many UNBELIEVERS will provide the “proof” that you need….
I’m sure these human practices and behaviors exist, completely outside of my experience and attention.
yes I do believe that they exist. I think what the scripture that you used is saying, is that you shouldn’t mix with those types of people, so in other words you kind of have your proof that they do exist from the scripture that you just used. The bible acknowledges that these things actually do exist but he’s saying not to mix with them. Like this verse “don’t be yoked with unbelievers”.
