i don’t exactly know how it happens but when it is that hot it just happens. it is like the desert, when it is hot people see illusions of water. so it is not just the road.

Models.Behaving.Badly: Why Confusing Illusion with Reality Can Lead to Disaster, on Wall Street and in Life

Emanuel Derman was a quantitative analyst (Quant) at Goldman Sachs, one of the financial engineers whose mathematical models became crucial for Wall Street. The reliance investors put on such quantitative analysis was catastrophic for the economy, setting off the ongoing string of financial crises that began with the mortgage market in 2007 and continues through today. Here Derman looks at why people– bankers in particular –still put so much faith in these models, and why it’s a terrible mi

Nothing Personal: Seeing Beyond The Illusion Of A Separate Self

“The beauty of this collection of Nirmala’s talks and dialogues is that it covers much of the spectrum of spiritual awakening, from the initial experience of one’s true nature to the practical challenges, which always call for a deeper seeing and deeper understanding of how spirit manifests as all of life and beyond….Nirmala welcomes whatever arises within the field of experience. In the midst of this welcoming is always an invitation to inquire deeply within, to the core of who and what you a

Question by Rayven: How would u visualize the illusion of time?
I’m an artist and I’ve just ran into an artist block I guess you would call it. If u were to draw or paint and try to convey the illusion of time, how would you? How would u visually convey a premonition? I’m interested in a surrealism and just need some ideas thrown at me to get the ball moving. Any favorite surrealists other than Dali that you can recommend me looking at?

Question by Raman Heera: Can you make a thesis for a Hamlet essay between reality and illusion?
One of the most important issues in this play is the discrepancy between reality and illusion, between those characters who are realistic and those who are not, between those characters who know themselves and those who lack self knowledge.

Examine at least three characters in Hamlet and determine to what extent the perception of reality or lack of it, has had on the development of this character and the story overall.

Answer by Alice Blair
Hi Raman,
Hamlet was indeed a very sane man. He was only feigning madness to further
his own plans for revenge. His words were so cleverly constructed that others
will perceive him as mad. It is this consistent cleverness that is the ultimate
evidence of his complete sanity. Can a mad person be so clever? No, a mad person
cannot. Hamlet is sane and brilliant.
After Hamlet, Horatio, and Marcellus see the ghost, Hamlet tells Horatio
that he is going to “feign madness”. If Horatio is to notice Hamlet acting
strange it is because he is putting on an act. “How strange or odd some’er I
bear myself/(As I perchance hereafter shall think meet/To put an antic
disposition on)/That you, at such times seeing, never shall,/With arms
encumbered thus, or this headshake ,/Or by pronouncing of some doutful
phrase,/As “Well, well,we know,” or “We could an if we/would,”/Or “If we list to
speak,” or “There be an if they/might,”/Or such ambiguous giving-out, to
note/That you. Read more informatiom here:

Zionist Jews want to ban the cross, not Muslims. When you look at a crucifixion cross, do you think of Muslims? No! You think of Jews plotting to kill Jesus with Pontius Pilate, and they don’t want you to think or remember that. But they can’t come out and say it so they say we do it for Muslims. That’s they way of stirring hatred between Christians and Muslims. If you know any Muslims, get them to sign a petition saying they don’t give a crap and they’ll do it gladly. Peace! We all feel the frustration of trying to talk to people about things we know to be factually true only to come up against this wall of belief in fairy-tales and propaganda. And the reason for that is by design we are all raised, indoctrinated, and brainwashed to allow beliefs to rule our mind. And as you grow up your identity, your personality form around those core beliefs. Beliefs become not a real accurate measurement of whats going on in the universe, but part of your identity. Beliefs are the chains that hold your free minds enslaved. No chain ever held a human being tighter than the chains made out of their beliefs. And ultimately when we are through this crisis… when we are past this rush War to save the money junkies, ultimately I seek a world free from belief. -Rivero. brusspup t-shirts! brusspup.spreadshirt.com Like me on Facebook: www.facebook.com Infinity Mirror Illusion. Extremely simple concept with stunning results. The illusion may look complicated but it was really very easy to make. ——————————————————————————- Details of materials and construction for Infinity Mirror Illusion The sizes and measurements i’ve provided may not be 100% accurate. Feel free to experiment with your own materials and measurements. I picked up all of the materials in the video from Hobby Lobby ..except for the mirrored tint. 1 – 7″ Cardboard lid 1 1/2″ height 1 – 9″ Cardboard lid 1 1/2″ height 1 – 15 bulb LED light strand 1 – 7″ diameter mirror 1 – 1′ X 1′ 1/10″ thick plexiglass or real glass (whichever you prefer — real glass will give a cleaner result) Take the 7″ Cardboard lid and mark a spot every 24 degrees on the outside rim halfway between the top and the bottom. That will create 15 marks around the lid for the LED’s I used a hand drill to create the holes for the LED’s. Make the holes a little smaller than the LED’s so that they’ll fit snug Push the LED’s into the hole. Push them in far enough so that they visible from the inside. Cut the bottom of the lid out. Glue the mirror in the middle of the inside of the 9″ lid. Place the 7″ ring with LED’s into the 9″ lid. The small ring should sit directly on top of the mirror. Cut a piece of mirrored window tint and apply it to the plexiglass / glass
